Policies and Objectives  
           
      1. Main policies    
           
             Faculty of Dentistry has set the policies stressing at the responses to Naresuan University’s policies and development/improvement directions, Ministry of Education’s policies on the Long-term (15-year) Plan for Higher Education and on the Education Development Plan for Higher Education, and the National Economic and Social Development Plan.  All of which include the followings:    
             1. Distributions of opportunities and constructions of the equity,    
             2. Improvement of the efficiency in the administrations and management of higher    
                  education,    
             3. Attempts to the academic excellence and the conduction of quality assurance,    
             4. Internationalization,    
             5. Collaborations with the privatization.    
             In accordance with the University’s missions and principle implementation plans, its policies have then been defined after the conference participation of the administrative personnel from all levels.    
           
      2. Policies on educational affairs    
           
      1. Development of the flexible and changeable education management.    
      2. Support of the continuous development and improvement of curricula, in response to    
          national needs and dental profession’s standard criteria.    
      3. Support of the development of academic members’ potentials.    
      4. Promotion of establishing the qualified and efficient graduates possessing moral and ethics.    
      5. Utilization of the students’ data-bases accompanied with the efficient teaching-learning    
          processes.    
      6. Supply, support, and improvement of all educational and technological resources to    
           promote the students’ continuous learning processes.    
      7. Development of its international post-graduate curricula.    
           
      3. Policies on extra-curricular activities for the students’ improvement    
           
      1. Development of the desirably knowledgeable, healthy, and professional dentists with moral,    
           ethics, and good personalities.    
      2. Promotion of the students’ activities that stress at co-working with others and constructing    
           the students’ senses of self-, social, and national responsibilities.    
      3. Supplement of the potentials of consultation systems, professional guidances, and    
           continuing educations.    
           
      4. Policies on research affairs    
           
      1. Preparation of the administrating and managing systems for researches and creative work,    
           in accordance with the national strategic plans and those of the University.    
      2. Support of the research collaborations between/among its personnel for education, new    
           knowledge, and community problems’ solving purposes.    
      3. Support of the research-relating internal activities, together with national and international    
           conferences, to fabricate the culture of research conductions.    
      4. Support of all aspects of the research releases to societies and the useful utilization of the    
           researches.    
      5. Preparation of supportive factors, for example research funds, equipments, and etc., for the    
           support of research conduction.    
           
      5. Policies on academic services for the societies    
           
      1. Providing dental services for the people in Thailand’s lower northern region.    
      2. Being the academic service center of dentistry and of learning shares for the people in    
           Thailand’s lower northern region.    
      3. Supporting all personnel’s conduction of the researches on the people’s oral health    
           problems and the local wisdom.    
           
      6. Policies on conservation and maintenance of Thai culture    
           
      1. Support of all personnel’s participations in the activities stressing at intra-fabrications of    
           good culture.    
      2. Support of all activities stressing at intra-fabrications of good culture.    
           
      7. Policies on administrations and management    
           
      1. Performing the administration and management processes, by means of good governance.    
      2. Gaining speedy and changeable management systems.    
      3. Coupling administrative work with innovations and new technologies.    
      4. Possessing the efficient and qualified structures and systems that support its principle    
           missions.    
           
      8. Policies on management of information technology systems    
           
      1. Agile and flexible management of information technology systems.    
      2. Management of information technology systems stressing at the excellence in technological    
           efficiencies for customers’ satisfactions, on basis of utilization and safety of the data.    
           
      9. Policies on treasure and budget    
           
      1. Preparation of the budgets from various sources to support the institution’s work.    
      2. Allocation of the budgets to gain efficient work.    
      3. Evaluation of the budget usage to understand the effectiveness.    
      4. Systematic examinations of the treasury and budget units to reveal their transparency.    
           
      10. Policies on education quality assurance and organization’s development    
           
      1. Conducting the education quality assurance, by means of the University’s approach, in    
           order that it becomes the efficient mechanisms of all missions’ controls, particularly those    
           related to the qualified graduates and to the preparation of external audits.    
      2. Strengthening all personnel’s knowledge on and understandings in education quality    
           assurance.    
      3. Promoting and supporting all personnel’s practices of education quality assurance to assure    
           the education management’s quality.    
      4. Promoting all personnel to be knowledgeable on knowledge management (KM), to perform    
           intra- and inter-unit learning shares, and to be able to develop researches from routine    
           work.
